The transformation of the flowers with the consequent appearance of the small berries, is called fruit set. Later, we will see the grow phase of the green berries. At this time the green grape contains chlorophyll and accumulates acids, up to the veraison phase between mid July and early August. This phase is characterized by the loss of chlorophyll and the beginning of the appearance of pigments in the skins (antociani for red grapes and flavoni for white grapes).
